A few years ago, Moe Quirin originated the idea for a book on the fast-growing airport in his home city in New Hampshire.  Following more than 5 years of research with co-author Edward W. Brouder, Jr. and contributors Barbara Miles and Christopher Van Veen, "Manchester's Airport: Flying Through Time" was published in October 2006 by UBT Press. The first of three printings was funded in part by the New Hampshire Aviation Historical Society, which operates the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire and, thanks to a $1 million donation, has constructed and is developing the Slusser Aviation Learning Center linked to the museum, which is the renovated 1937 art-deco terminal at Manchester.
